I got the entrepreneurial spirit from my father. He instilled in me how to be an entrepreneur from an early age, teaching me that one can do anything they set their focus and determination towards. My first business was a lawn mowing business in the summer time around the local neighborhood. I would do odd jobs, mostly yard work for elderly people. They appreciated the help and I appreciated the money to be able to buy some candy. During my high school years at Columbia Falls High School, I was employed by McDonald's and then by Big Sky Waterside in the summer. I went off to college to study electronic engineering, then came back to Montana and worked for my fathers electronic processing business. During that time I met the love of my life and soul mate Trish. Together we have four children. We have been involved attentive parents with a vested interest in the quality of their education. In 2012 my friend Sean and I started Montana Action Parks Paintball, running it successfully for 3 years. We then sold the business which is still in operation and located on Smith Lake road in Kila. In 2014 I was a part of the Montana State Taekwondo Team. That year Team Montana won the National title! I ran multiple successful business that all survived through COVID, when so many other businesses failed. A balanced budget and an excellent staff kept us up and running, we never locked down. We are proud to have been able keep everyone employed through the lock downs. In July 2020 I started another successful business with my friend Jeremy, it is on track to be debt free by the end of 2023.

I possess a sharp eye for detail which I use to find the most efficient ways of completing tasks. I work well under pressure and can produce high-quality work in short periods of time. I have strong interpersonal skills and work with a wide variety of people. I have raised four children and have experience relating to the needs of multiple persons at once. I believe in chivalry, holding open doors for people and being polite to everyone. I believe in supporting people in the service industry as they are the backbone of our society. My years in martial arts sharpened my skills in courtesy, integrity, perseverance and self control. I am a handy man. I built my first house and remodeled my second, all the while teaching my sons how to do the same. Kids are our future! We must raise them with the skills to succeed in the world. The most valuable skill that can be taught is the ability to learn, which is a lifelong skill. I thank my father for teaching me that. Thinking critically and asking hard questions is something I have never shied away from. I look forward to using my extensive life and business experience to continue serving my community.
